JAST acknowledges a double-blind peer review process for the acceptance of manuscripts for publication, as follows: Following the initial check by the editorial board in terms of aim and scope, manuscripts are revised to meet the journal author guidelines and anti-plagiarism requirements. Following the approval by the executive editor, reviewers are assigned by the editor-in-chief. Manuscripts evaluated to require further development with “major” or “minor” revision remarks by the reviewers proceed with corresponding review rounds between the corresponding authors and the reviewers. Following sufficient revision rounds, manuscripts “accepted” by majority of the assigned reviewers are processed further for publication with a final editorial check. Manuscripts receiving rejection majority vote by the reviewers are rejected and not processed further.
